Andrew and Tania
We are photographic colleagues who work together to create stunning images for you.

Andrew is a professional photographer in good standing. After having enjoyed photography as a hobby for many years and studying it at Collage and University, Andrew went professional over 5 years ago.
He's married with one child and two cats who very much rule the household.

Tania is both a Model and a Make Up Artist, she has been doing Make Up for over fifteen years and is highly qualified in her field.
Having worked as a Model and Photographer in the past, she has an intimate understanding of lighting and posing.

Our Boudoir sessions are all about mystery, femininity and sensuality.
It’s not about seeing bare flesh or showing bits off, in fact it’s more about what you don’t see or what’s implied. Most, if not all of the time, you will be wearing more then you’d wear to the very public local swimming baths or perhaps on a beach somewhere, and you’ll be in a private room or suite.

We love the whole vintage style, the low light, Brocade Damask wallpaper, antique chairs, corsets and a hint of burlesque. It’s a very Parisian feel and it’s inspired the sophisticated feel of these shoots.

Your photos will be shot by myself, assisted at all times by Tania who not only assists on the shoot with posing and lighting, but can also use her skills as a Make Up Artist to pamper you and make you even more beautiful then you already are.

FAQ

What is a 'Boudoir'?
A boudoir is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning "to pout"
Historically, the boudoir formed part of the private suite of rooms of a lady, for bathing and dressing, adjacent to her bedchamber, being the female equivalent of the male cabinet.
In later periods, the boudoir was used as a private drawing room, and was used for other activities, such as embroidery or entertaining intimate acquaintances.
Boudoir photography is a fairly recent trend, starting, as these things often do, in the USA, as something a woman (or man) can do in order to give their other half a truly intimate and personal gift just before or after their wedding.

What if I'm not happy with my weight or shape? Should I wait?

No, you don't need to at all. I'm able to create gorgeous images with a size 8 body or a size 20 body using clever lighting and various photographic techniques that will flatter your shape.
Everyone has their own unique beauty, and that's what I will bring out in these shoots. I also retouch (Air Brush) all photos in Photoshop anyway.

How do I know he'll like them?
Trust me, he'll like them. Why wouldn't he like his own private collection of photos of you looking sexy, classy and confident.
He will love them!

Can I bring a friend/Chaperone?
Absolutely, in fact I encourage it. I always make sure I have someone with me on such shoots, which is usually Tania the makeup Artist. Bringing a friend of your own is a great idea, especially if it helps you relax.

What actually happens at the shoot?
Well, my make up Artist and myself will meet you at the agreed location, where you will spend one hour in make up being pampered which will give me time to chat to you about what you want from the shoot. Then we do 2 or more hours worth of photography, (it will seem like a fraction of that time), changing the look a few times and getting a great set of photos.

Why do you do shoots in a hotel room?
I shoot in hotel rooms primarily for the mood. The best Boudoir shoots evoke the feeling of being in a ladies bedroom or Boudoir. Hotel rooms are perfect for this as they have the air of a bedroom, without the clutter and detritus of everyday life scattered about the place. Also, you can have the gorgeous 4 poster bed you always wanted.  ;-)

Could I do my shoot at home?
Absolutely!
Home shoots can work very well as you are in a space you are comfortable in and that reflects you as a person. I would highly recommend you have a spring clean and hide away as many every day life items as possible though.

But I don't know how to pose!
Don't worry, we will guide you through the poses and make sure you look fabulous in them all.

Will I be pushed into buying things I don't want?
Absolutely not, I never push anything on any client of mine. I'll show you what I offer and then the choice is yours.

Where will I put my images?
That's really up to you and depends on which package you get and how extroverted you are. Perhaps they could be in a private book for your hubby to keep, or framed above your bed, the choice is yours and I'm able to offer various products that will suit your needs.

What if I don't want them on your Website?

That's fine. I take privacy and confidentiality very seriously.
